Wall Sreet's Dam Served By Gallant Guru
Villa Wanda, the dam of brilliant Coupland Bakeries winner Wall Steet has been served this season by Gallant Guru.
With both Wall Street and Gallant Guru being Group-winning sons of champion sire Montjeu, it is certainly an interesting mating and indicative of the high regard that the young White Robe Lodge stallion is held by breeders.
Gallant Guru was the first son of Montjeu to go to stud in Australasia and ever since his arrival was announced, the progeny of Montjeu have not stopped winning feature races throughout the world. The Sadler's Wells sireline has, in fact, been dominant in Australia in recent times.
Wall Street is now a Group Two winner over 1600 metres and has unlimited potential as a stayer.
The oldest progeny of Gallant Guru are now yearlings and a number will be on offer at Karaka in early 2010.
