A day to remember for WRL Trainers Brian and Shane Anderton at the Otago Racing Club meeting run at Wingatui, 28th March 2025. They produced 6 winners and 2 seconds on the 9 race card.
Five of the winners were by resident sire Ghibellines who also sired the trifecta of the last race.
Adding icing to the cake, was former WRL apprentice, now current jockey, Courtney Barnes riding 5 of those winners. It was a very successful day all round for both Courtney and her former employers, who gave Courtney her start, in the Racing Industry.
